Sydney Day, DVM, MPH

Dr. Day grew up and still resides in Warwick, RI, living in the Potowomut area of the city for most of her life. She received her undergraduate degree in animal science from the University of Rhode Island before going on to graduate school at Boston University for her Master of Public Health degree. For several years after that and before starting veterinary school at Tufts University, she held a few different roles including as an agricultural research associate back at URI, and as a veterinary technician.

General practice has always been her chosen path because she loves that it includes a little bit of everything, plus she really enjoys getting to see the same patients and families over time. Her biggest areas of interest include internal medicine, anesthesia, and surgery. She also has a background in and love for large animal medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Day enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog Chowder, spending time at the beach or on the bay with their jetski in the summer, hot yoga, reading, and playing video games.
